Linus Tze-Hsiu Chao, 89, of Mountain View died May 1. Born in Jinan, China, he was an artist and art professor at Hawaii Community College. Private services held. Roy Tsuneo Hinokawa, 92, of Hilo died April 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, he was a retired chief warrant officer for the Hawaii Army National Guard, and a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War. He also was a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, American Legion Post No. 3, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6, Big Island National Guard Retirees Association and National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 2126.
