Alberto Aglupos Agbigay, 72, of Hilo died April 15 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired maintenance worker for Four Seasons Resort Hualalai and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 8-10 a.m. Friday, May 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Reynold Wesley Jerome Jr., 78, of Kurtistown died April 30 at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center in Hilo. Born in Kohala, he was an ILWU union organizer. Private services held. Stephen “Steve” Theodore Johnson, 75, of Kailua-Kona died May 5 at home. Born in Portland, Ore., he was a retired Portland Fire Bureau battalion chief, U.S. Forest Service smoke jumper and para-rescue and recovery for Air Force Reserve 304th Rescue Squadron. Ernest Ortiz Orpilla, 66, of Kealakekua died April 9 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Olaa and raised in Captain Cook, he was a manager at American Machinery in Kona, worked for Car Quest, the Kona Surf Hotel and West Hawaii Motors and was a class of 1970 Konawaena High School alumnus. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Kona Imin Center, 76-5877 Old Government Road, in Holualoa. Celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Survived by sisters, Shirley Camp, Barbara Caputo, Brenda French, Charlotte Orpilla and Darlene Orpilla-Rezachek; two nieces, four nephews, three grandnieces, six grandnephews and two great-grandnephews.

The late Louise “Sweetie” Lealoha Maikui is survived by, among others, brothers, John Chesebro Jr. of Hilo and Leonard “Milimili” (Juanita) Chesebro of Kona. Their names were incorrectly submitted for an obituary published Tuesday.
