Brooke Baptiste • softball

With apologies to some of Baptiste’s Kamehameha teammates, including Leiloa Bustamante and her walk-off home run heroics, the right-hander gets the nod here. Not just because she’s a senior, but also because the Warriors are always in good hands when she is in the circle.

Baptiste didn’t give up an earned run during 13 innings in the BIIF Division II championship series against Kohala, striking out 18 and allowing only four hits — she had three hits and two RBIs at the plate — as Kamehameha swept for its eighth consecutive championship and first unbeaten BIIF season since 2016.
