The Small Business Development Center, East Hawaii is offering “Customer Service: Building Your Brand” from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, at the Hawaii Innovation Center in downtown Hilo.

This workshop will help identify the kind of customer service behaviors customers appreciate, which will in turn, will build a business’ brand

On average, a person who has a positive customer service experience will tell 11 people vs. the 15 people they tell when their experience is negative (Not to mention social media). In this workshop, learn the fundamentals of the consumer consumption process, how service is experienced and how to build a better experience for customers to build brand and brand value.

This workshop will be taught by Mariah Williams, consumer behavior strategist and intercultural communication specialist, who leads informative and engaging business courses.

Cost to attend the workshop is $25.
