A pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Highway 11, just north of Makalaka Street in the Panaewa area of Hilo has been identified as 35-year-old Anthony Harper of Pahoa.
Police are seeking information from the public regarding the circumstances of the vehicle crash, who may have observed any recent suspicious front-end damage to a motor vehicle, or who may have seen a male pedestrian walking Hilo-bound along Highway 11 between Keaau town and Makalika Street during the early morning hours of April 3 between 12:30 a.m. and 1:50 a.m.
