Hawaii Island police have arrested and charged a 42-year-old Hilo woman with an array of property offenses.
On Thursday, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near the 1900 block area of Pamala Place in Hilo and arrested a woman in a stolen sport-utility vehicle.
A check turned up active warrants for the woman, Paula Vea Kuamoo.
In addition to the auto theft, she was charged with habitual property crimes after research revealed Kuamoo has nine previous convictions for property-related crimes.
Kuamoo is scheduled to appear in court today and is being held in lieu of $22,000 bail.
