Stanley Cosare Sr., 66, of Paauilo died March 25 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honokaa, he was a truck driver for the state and county, taro farmer in Waipio Valley and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 7 p.m. Casual attire. Cremation to follow. Lewyllen Kulani Fragas Sr., 67, of Pahoa died March 18 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a member of the Highlander and Kats softball teams and former softball coach at Waiakea and Keaau high schools. Josita Macugay Pasion, 88, of Pahoa died Feb. 28 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in San Juan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a waitress for the former KK Tei Restaurant in Hilo, macadamia nut sorter for Island Princess and member of a Filipino dance club and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
