The University of Hawaii at Hilo College of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resource Management invites the public to come spend some time at the farm.

The college is hosting an Agriculture Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 13 at the UH-Hilo farm in Panaewa.

Agriculture plays an important role in our economy, environment and our daily lives and the college wants to highlight and share how its faculty and students have worked together to solve agricultural-related challenges and problems in different areas of research and projects.

The fair also will showcase the different areas of specializations through exhibits, displays and demonstrations that will give those who attend a unique way to experience every aspect of the college’s academic pursuits, all in one place.

The fair will feature farm animals, ornamentals, hydroponic vegetables, the orchard, insect collections, research posters, beekeeping and honey products, aquaculture, aquaponics and much more.

This event is open to everyone.

Guided tours for small groups or a class will be accommodated by reservation.

The UH-Hilo farm is located at 3551 Kanoelehua Ave.
