The Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce proudly presents its 12th Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon and Concert from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at the Grand Naniloa Resort Crown Room.
Featured entertainer is Hilo’s own singer-songwriter and nine-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Mark Yamanaka. His latest CD, “Lei Lehua,” features a personal collection of music — songs close to his heart, and some of them original.
He is a much sought-after entertainer throughout the state, mainland and Japan.
Preceding Yamanaka is Hilo’s multi-award-winning ukulele virtuoso Brittni Paiva, three-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner. She has released five CDs and is working on her sixth.
“We encourage bosses to honor their office professionals by treating them to this special signature event,” said event co-chair Jon Miyata. “Our committee does the work — which includes a specially prepared luncheon buffet by Hula Hulas, goodie bag for administrative professionals, lucky number prizes, surprises and fabulous entertainment.”
Co-chair Taylor Escalona added, “and the boss gets the credit!”
The event is always a sellout, so make your reservations by downloading the registration form from www.hicc.biz.
