Hiroshi Ota, 85, of Hilo died March 9 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired accountant for Automotive Supply Center, retired from Hawaii Army National Guard and U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He also was a member of Big Island National Guard Retirees Association, Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin Kyodan and Hoyukai, Piihonua Community Association, East Hawaii Hiroshima Kenjin Kai and Japanese Community Association.
