Nolan Beirne George, 81, of Waimea died Feb. 14 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired business owner and rancher. Adelaide Au‘ilani Nailima Kauhi, 84, of Keaukaha, formerly of Papakolea, Oahu, died March 3 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Ramona Santiago Pacheco, 86, of Hilo died Feb. 23 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, she was a retired licensed practical nurse for the former Hilo Hospital and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Victor Rodney Tanaka, 71, of Hilo, died Jan. 28 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, he was owner of JewelBox Orchids, a U.S. Navy Vietnam War Underwater Demolition Team veteran, 1965 Hilo High School alumnus, golfer, champion and record-setting swimmer who won International Military Sports Council competitions. Interment noon Wednesday, March 27, at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. No-host celebration of life 1:30 p.m. at Hilo Municipal Golf Course. Survived by sons, “Rocky” Victor Rodney Jr. of San Diego; Scott Tanaka and Jacob Tanaka; sister, Maile Singson; a grandson.

Robert Leroy Williams, 88, of Naalehu died Nov. 25 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Seoul, South Korea, he was a retired computer programmer and coder for health care organizations and a U.S. Army veteran. Urn committal services noon Tuesday (March 19) at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
