Segunda “Sally” Conselva Bungula, 80, of Hilo died Feb. 23 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a cocktail waitress for the Hoomalimali Lounge at the former Naniloa Surf Hotel and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Thursday (March 14) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 9-10:30 a.m. Friday (March 15) at Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church in Keaukaha. Mass at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei are welcome. Burial at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Merina Mokur Engino, 63, of Keaau died Feb. 27 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Chuuk, Micronesia, she was a former housekeeper for the Hilton Waikoloa Village and member of Christ Church. Funeral Service noon on Saturday (March 16) at the Community of Christ, 1842 Kinoole St. in Hilo. Graveside committal service 1 p.m. Sunday (March 17) at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. Bernadette Marie Konanui, 83, of Hilo died Jan. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kalihi, Oahu, she was a professional musician and entertainer.
