Herbert Diama, 91, of Hilo died Feb. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Papaikou, he was a retired meteorologist for the former U.S. Weather Bureau, employed at the Veterans Administration and a U.S. Air Force veteran during World War II. Private services held.
