Navarette is a honored in this space for the second consecutive year, and the UH-Hilo sophomore likely won’t be a stranger in the future.
This has not been the season the women’s basketball team had hoped for, but Navarette is as steady as they come.
She posted a career-high 32 points and 12 rebounds in a rout against Academy of Art, then she compiled her 11th double-double of the season (18 points, 10 boards) to keep the Vuls afloat for a while against Dominican.
