The Hilo High School Key Club hosted it’s second Color Run on Dec. 12. The run/walk is one of many collaborative activities the school organizes to promote acceptance and unity for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Hilo High Special Olympics athletes and students from the culinary, Japanese and JROTC classes were also on board to help spread this important message to their school and community. Waiakea Special Olympics athletes also were at the event to show their support.
