“Some are born great, some achieve greatness, some have greatness thrust upon them,” said Eric Cox, quoting William Shakespeare.

Cox is co-owner of Papaaloa Bakery and the director of the upcoming Malamalama Waldorf School play, the “Twelfth Night,”

“Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’ is a comedy of deception, disguise, love, folly, mistaken identity, love, more folly and love,” Cox said. “Come and see the seventh- and eighth-graders of Malamalama Waldorf School untangle the mess that is made when Viola arrives in town in disguise, falls in love with the Duke, who is in love with Olivia, who is in love with the disguised Viola.”

This play is a fundraiser for a class trip to Japan, where they will travel from Osaka to Tokyo, Kumamoto and Hiroshima.

While on the trip, students will be educated about the history and culture of each place, as well as be a part of “Go” game competition with some of the brightest players in Japan.

“Twelfth Night” is slated for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8-9, at the Puna Hongwanji in Keaau.

A complete Burrito bar dinner will be available for purchase at 6 p.m. both nights.

Tickets are available at Keaau Natural Foods and the school office.

Tickets are $5 for children, $8 for adults or $20 for the entire family. The burrito plate is $7.
