Simply put, Cabatbat was the best player on the court when Waiakea’s girls basketball team needed her most to pull off its biggest win in more than a decade.

Cabatbat scored 17 points – including five key points during a fourth-quarter stretch – on 7-of-11 shooting with four rebounds and two steals as the Warriors beat Konawaena for their first BIIF title since 2008.
