Are you ready for a truly far-out experience?

Volcano Art Center will host its 15th annual Love the Arts fundraiser from 5-9 p.m. Feb. 9 in Hale Ho‘omana at the Ni‘aulani Campus in Volcano Village.

This year’s theme celebrates the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with music, memorabilia, tie-dyed bell bottoms and beads. So raid your closets and come for what surely will be a groovy evening.

The annual gala is VAC’s main fundraising event, raising money so the center can fund classes, exhibits, workshops and offer the creative arts experience in a uniquely nurturing and inspiring environment.

This event is highlighted by unique decorations, a luxurious gourmet buffet, fine wines, brews and, of course, the live and silent auctions. Everyone will have an opportunity to bid on artwork, restaurants, local products, services, gift certificates to businesses and attractions, and unique offerings including original artwork, tours, jewelry and much more.

Tickets are $65, or $55 for VAC members, and are available for purchase at the Ni‘aulani Campus, located at 19-4074 Old Volcano Road in Volcano Village; Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and online at www.volcanoartcenter.org.
