Born in Hilo and raised in Pahala, she was a psychologist at Waianae Comprehensive Health Center, 1992 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapalama, 1996 graduate of Utah State University, and 1992 inductee into the Nissan Hall of Honor for athletic excellence, especially basketball and volleyball.
