Peter J. Altomare, 68, of Waimea died Dec. 1 at home. Born in Boston, he was a retired engineer and consultant, Democratic Party member, former Communist Party member, union member and Unitarian Universalist. Survived by close friends, RoxAnne M. Manuel Correa Jr., 88, of Pahoa died Dec. 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a Kamehameha Schools Food Service retiree, crossing guard at Keonepoko Elementary School and Teamsters Union member. Family viewing 8-9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Ballard Family Mortuary. Public visitation 9-10 a.m. Service and prayers 10 a.m. Casual or aloha attire. Survived by wife, Audrey Santos-Correa of Pahoa; sons, Manny Kekoa (Javelyn Victorino) Correa of Kailua-Kona and Elias Kanakaokai Kona of Honolulu; hanai daughter, Sandy (Kekoa Hao) Mandaquit of Las Vegas; a granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Robert J. DeLima, 80, of Hilo died Dec. 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a cowboy, rancher, jockey, dairy and piggery owner, plumber, co-founder of the Hawaii Rodeo Association and National Guard veteran. Anna “Dolly” Leah Gordon, 94, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 8 at home. Born in Glendale, Ore., she was a Mobil service station owner-operator, judicial secretary, member of Crimestoppers and Senior Mixed Bowling League and fisherwoman. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Big Game Fishing Clubhouse at Honokohau Harbor in Kailua-Kona. Scattering of ashes 10 a.m.-noon. Luncheon to follow. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Walter Shumbo, 63, of Hilo died Dec. 22 at home. He was born in Middletown, Conn. Molly Setsuko Nakagomi Yano, 95, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 30. Born in Mountain View, she was a nurse and X-ray technician. Services 9 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 12) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kealakekua. No flowers or gifts.
