Those who missed the single showing in November will have another chance to see Hilo High School student Jared Goodwin in the science documentary “Inventing Tomorrow” when it returns to the Palace Theater for a Hana Hou feature this weekend.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. today through Tuesday (Jan. 8) and 2:30 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 6).

Follow Hilo native Goodwin, along with six other students from Indonesia, India and Mexico, as they prepare for the world’s largest high school science competition — the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Inspired by the issues and problems witnessed in their own communities, these teens propose big ideas and ingenious solutions to the world’s environmental challenges.

With unfettered minds and ambition, they descend upon Los Angeles to participate in ISEF and meet thousands of their peers from around the world.
