Riley Patterson scored six times Wednesday at Keaau and Hilo beat the Cougars 9-0 in a BIIF Division I boys soccer match.

Logan Mizuba netted a hat trick for the Vikings (1-2) and Jyson Breitbarth and Jase Ambrojo each had a hand in the shutout against Keaau (0-4).

Hilo 9, Keaau 0: Two-time BIIF Division I player of the year Miya Clarke scored her first three goals of the season as the visiting Vikings improved to 3-0-1.

Jordyn Pacheco tacked on her team-leading fifth goal, Nanea Moke-Rabang, Mohala Kalauli, Samantha Chung, Kalamanamana Harman, Peyton Saguid also scored and Hollie Saplan garnered two assists.

Hauoli Kapili and Kali’u Boteilho each had a hand in the shutout of the Cougars (0-5).

In other soccer matches, Konawaena’s girls beat Kealakehe 5-0 and Kohala’s boys edged Konawaena 1-o.
