Firefighters, including the hazardous materials unit and three ambulances, responded late this afternoon to Walgreen’s in Hilo on a report of an odor inside the store. The store was evacuated and temporarily closed and the ambulances left the Waiakea Center parking lot with sirens and lights deployed. No additional information was immediately available.
