Hawaii Prep coach James Berry lauded Hiatt’s consistent and versatile play the entire weekend at Ka Makani Soccer Classic, but it was the holding midfielder’s “performance, commitment and passion” that helped rally HPA from a three-goal deficit to beat Kapolei in the tournament final.

Hiatt scored two goals “and his passion in the second half of the final game changed the energy of the whole game,” Berry said.
