Felicidad Taguiam Cabrera, 93, of Honokaa died Oct. 15 in Jacksonville, Fla. Born in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, the Philippines, she was a retired housekeeper for the former Royal Waikoloan Hotel, homemaker, member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa, Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville and the former Filipino Saranay Club of Honokaa. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Nov. 3 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Honokaa Catholic Cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by sons, Charlie T. Roy Tadao Van Dyke Kimura, 89, of Hilo died Sept. 22 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired president of Central Supply Inc., safety committee chairman for Hawaii Island Contractors’ Association and a U.S. Army and Hawaii Army National Guard Korean War veteran. Survived by wife, Chong “Myong” Kimura of Hilo; daughter, Debora (Keith) Tanimura of Salinas, Calif.; sons, Jason (Carmen) Kimura and Vince (Jodie) Kimura of Hilo, Randall (Jennifer) Kimura of La Habra, Calif.; sister-in-law, Theresa B. John Vlad Krasovsky, 25, of Ninole died Oct. 6 at Kona Community Hospital. He was born in California. Service 11 a.m. today (Oct. 27) at Ballard Family Mortuary in Hilo. Evelyn “Eva” Marie Martinson, 66, of Waimea died July 17 at The Queen’s Hospital in Honolulu. Born in Fukuoka, Japan, she was retired and had worked previously at the Thelma Parker Library, Waimea General Store and Waimea Gazette. Celebration of life at noon Nov. 11 at Anna’s Hall on Anna Ranch in Waimea, followed by a light lunch and root beer floats. Casual attire. Alga Perreira, 90, of Waimea, formerly of Lawai, Kauai, died Oct. 22 in Hilo. Born in Lawai Valley, Kauai, she was a homemaker. The Rev. Willliam H. Thornton died Oct. 6 at home. He was a reverend (kahu) of Kinoole Church (Ohana Church) in Hawi, and is survived by daughter-in-law, Kathy Karratti of Honolulu, among others. Incorrect information was provided to the Tribune-Herald for an obituary published Friday.
