Purtusa “Pat” Aguinaldo Benarao, 95, of Pahala died July 16 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker and a volunteer for numerous charitable organizations. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcome. Burial to at Alae Cemetery, new section. Kathleen Reiko Nii Burress, 56, of Henderson, Nev., and Hilo died June 1 in Pearl City, Oahu. Born in Honolulu, she worked in the hotel and retail industries. Miguela Chung-Hoon, 86, of Kailua-Kona died June 26 in Kealakekua. She was a waitress at Ocean View Inn Restaurant and secretary for Hawaii Protective Association and the former Freeman Guards.
