Original story — Highway 190 has been closed at the 18 mile marker near the Big Island Country Club in Waikoloa after a fatal traffic crash involving three vehicles.
According to a preliminary police report, one person died after a head-on collision at 6:41 a.m. Monday while three others declined treatment for minor injuries.
Until the highway is reopened, drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
