Leslie M. Castro Sr., 85, of Hilo died June 26 in Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a retired lumber yard foreman. Memorial service/celebration of life at a later date. Survived by son, Leslie M. (Leeann) Castro Jr. of Hilo; brother, Clyde Castro of Las Vegas; sister, Emogene Pacheco of Hakalau; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews. Marlyn Ann Kelly, 78, of Pahoa died June 23 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Minnesota, she was a homemaker. Graveside urn committal services noon Tuesday (July 3) at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Harry Kon, 84, of Hilo died June 24 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired airliner fueler for Lockheed Martin and U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran. Richard Wilfred Santos, 90, of Hilo died June 11 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired captain for the Hawaii Police Department, former CEO of The Arc of Hilo, commodore of Coast Guard Auxiliary 14 District and member of Hilo Masonic Lodge 33rd degree and Waiakea Lions, Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 78 and U.S. Army Air Corps/U.S. Air Force World War II veteran.
