Anthony “Pops” Primus Arbles, 80, of Moirton Camp, Papaikou, died June 4 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pepeekeo, he was a retired warehouse clerk for the state Department of Education and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Kats Athletic Club. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Friday (June 15) at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. Marcos Lucas Julian, 95, of Pahoa died May 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines; he was an employee of the former Puna Sugar Co., self-employed papaya and noni farmer and member of Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Donald “Don” Cameron Seaton Jr., 94, of Keaau died May 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was the owner of Greenhouse Specialists Keaau, cultivation superintendent for the former Paauhau, Hamakua and Laupahoehoe sugar plantations, member of New Hope East Hawaii and U.S. Marine Corps captain during World War II and Korean War. William Yoshito Thompson, 94, of Aiea, Oahu, died May 15. Born in Hilo, he was a civil engineer, former managing director of Hawaii County Board of Water Supply, deputy director and chairman of state Department of Land and Natural Resources, executive secretary of Leeward Planning Commission, vice president for R. M. Towill Corp., U.S. Army 442nd Regimental Combat Team World War II veteran, Bronze Star awardee, president of 442nd RCT Veterans Club, Hilo High School Class of 1941 alumnus and earned a B.S. in civil engineering in 1950 at University of Hawaii. Private placement of urn held at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Sunday (June 17) at Hosoi Garden Mortuary in Honolulu.
