Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a woman whose image was captured on a surveillance camera in connection with a forgery investigation.

According to police, a Caucasian woman entered a business in Naalehu and used a counterfeit $50 bill to purchase items. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a silver-color sport-utility vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to call the police nonemergency telephone number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
