Leatrice Alma Bergeron (DeCosta), 75, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Hilo, died Feb. 17 at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson. Born in Kailua, Oahu, she was retired from the former Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Kauai. Private services held. Survived by daughters, Sharlene “Shar” Sutton (DeCosta) and Rayanne Lum (DeCosta) of Hilo, Julie Pereza of Oahu; sister, Faye (Basil) Pena of Arizona; brother, Robert Cross of Arizona; nieces and nephews.

David A. Bowe, 78, of Waipio Valley and Honokaa died March 15 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Canton, Ohio, he worked for Timken Co. in Canton and Pacific Union Metal in California. Casey Ka‘iulani Medeiros, 31, of Makakilo, Oahu, formerly of Keaukaha, died Feb. 28 in Kapolei, Oahu. Born in Hilo, she was an administrative coordinator for HMSA, member of Innovative Concepts Church and New Hope Kapolei and graduate of University of Hawaii at Manoa and Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama. Visitation 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday (March 24) at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary Makai Chapel on Oahu. Celebration of life service at 6:30 p.m. Please wear blue in honor of March being National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and for Casey’s love of the ocean. Survived by parents, Russell S. Medeiros and Kimberly K. Yvonne Frances Paiva, 74, of Naalehu died March 17 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born in Hilo, she was retired from Punaluu Bake Shop and was a member of the Naalehu Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Tuesday (March 27) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Graveside urn committal service to follow at Naalehu Community Cemetery. Casual attire.
