Police arrested two men who were the subjects of recent unrelated wanted bulletins, including the suspect in a robbery that reportedly took place Tuesday afternoon in the Panaewa area of Hilo.

Police arrested two men who were the subjects of recent unrelated wanted bulletins, including the suspect in a robbery that reportedly took place Tuesday afternoon in the Panaewa area of Hilo.

Benny Rapoza Jr. was taken into custody Tuesday night at a home in Ainaloa subdivision in Puna. He was charged Wednesday with second-degree robbery and unauthorized entry to a motor vehicle.

His bail was set at $10,000 and his initial court appearance is scheduled for today in Hilo District Court.

In an unrelated case, Peter Fuerte, who was wanted by Kona police, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday in Captain Cook, according to a police log. He was charged with two counts of contempt of court and booked on suspicion of resisting arrest.
