Geraldine Ilima Ayoso, 77, of Kapaau died Oct. 19 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Kohala, she was a retired pantry worker for the Mauna Lani Resort Gallery Restaurant and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Kohala Ward) and Kohala Senior Citizen Club. Friends can call 9-11 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 5) at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Kohala Ward). Service at 11 a.m. Burial at 12:30 p.m. at Hawi County Cemetery. Aloha attire. Alanaokala “Alana” Solomon Covington, 36, of Waimea died Oct. 19 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kealakekua, he was a former field manager for Waiaka Farm and a member of Mana Christian Ohana.
