LAS VEGAS (AP) — The restaurant chain made famous for its waitresses — or its wings if its marketing is to be believed — says its largest location to date is coming to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas not far from the casino bearing the brand’s name.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The restaurant chain made famous for its waitresses — or its wings if its marketing is to be believed — says its largest location to date is coming to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas not far from the casino bearing the brand’s name.

Hooters of America and Palms Casino announced Wednesday that a 15,200-square-foot franchise location would open by June with a poolside bar opening in May.

The size outdoes a 10,000-square-foot Dallas location and planned restaurant in Thailand.

Hooters’ global development executive Mark Whittle said there are no geographic restrictions in the franchise and license agreements it has that would bar the new location despite another restaurant less than 3 miles away inside the Hooters Casino Hotel.

Whittle said proximity shouldn’t be an issue attracting customers.
