Police have nabbed a 34-year-old Hilo man wanted for an alleged shooting incident last week in Keaukaha.

Jarvis Naoki Higa was arrested without incident at 10:15 a.m. Monday morning in Mountain View. He’s being held in the Hilo police cellblock on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder, while police continue the investigation.

At 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning, police responded to a report of a man threatening a 34-year-old Hilo man with a firearm. Police say a round was discharged in the parking lot of the Orchid Manor condominium complex on Kalanianaole Avenue before the suspect fled the area.

No one was injured in the incident.
