Beverly Jean Trifonovitch, 75, of Keaau died March 22 in Honolulu. Born in Rochester, Mich., she was a retired Bible Institute of Hawaii administrator. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Puna Covenant Church in Keaau. Service at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Memorial donations to either St. Francis Hospice in Honolulu or Hospice of Hilo. Survived by husband, Gregory Trifonovitch of Keaau; sons, John (Kathy) Trifonovitch of Kailua, Oahu, and David (Kelli) Trifonovitch of Nuuanu, Oahu; daughter, Sonya (Darren) Ah Chong of Hawaiian Paradise Park; sisters, Kathleen Robinson and Janice Graf of South Carolina, Joann Shimabukuro of Honolulu; eight grandchildren. Nancy Fah Manasas, 94, Kailua-Kona, died April 8 at the Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker. Friends may call at 9 a.m. May 11 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary, Makai Chapel in Waipio, Oahu, for a noon funeral; burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Jokin Manuel, 64, of Captain Cook died April 9 at home. Born in Ka‘u, he was a landscaper at the Hualalai Resort, a laborer for E.M. Rivera, a janitor for Maxwell Landing, and a member of South Kona Assembly of God. Friends may call at 9 a.m. May 12 at Laiopua Recreation Center at Hawaiian Homes in Kailua-Kona for a 10 a.m. memorial service. Casual attire; flower lei welcome. Mark Anthony Souza, 51, of Hilo died Monday, April 9, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a music professor at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Graveside service on Tuesday from 10 a.m.-noon at Homelani Memorial Park.
