Prudencio “Danny” Ventura Gravela, 82, of Naalehu died Jan. 1 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Pahala, He was a retired sugar analyst for the former Hutchinson and Ka‘u sugar companies, U.S. Army veteran, 1959 Ka‘u High School graduate, attended Glendale College in California and loved football, playing tennis and golf.
