VISTA, Calif. – The UH-Hilo women’s golf team began spring play this week at Cal State University San Marcos’ Fujikara Invitational at Shadowridge Country Club, finishing at No. 14 after shooting rounds of 336 and 337.

Kailey Oki led the Vulcans at a tie for 64th with a plus-23 score.
Freshman Trinity Ledgerwood made her first appearance in the lineup and improved her day-two score by eight shots, jumping up six spots to a tie at 66th.
Point Loma Nazarene’s Alli Kim (72–72) took the individual crown for her second win in consecutive weeks.
CSU Monterey Bay took the team win with a consistent 305 score for both rounds.
UH-Hilo will have a quick turnaround to compete in the Augustana Spring Fling later this week at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California.
