Naomi K. “Darling” Kawamoto Aiu, 83, of Honalo died Jan. 8 at home. Born in Keauhou Bay, she was a coffee farmer, homemaker and member of Helani Congregational Church, Queen Kaahumanu Society and Ka Ulu Lauhala O Kona. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Helani Congregational Church, 78-6551 Mamalahoa Hwy. in Holualoa. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by husband, Harry Aiu of Honalo; daughters, Pua (Chris) Mantz of Keaau, Roxanne (Scott) Miller of Alaska and Anna Mapu (Francis) Quitazol of Kula, Maui; hanai sons, Edward (Emily) Kawamoto of Waimea and Darin (Mildred) Aiu of Kailua-Kona; brother, John Kawamoto of Keauhou Mauka; seven grandchildren.
