Eiko Amy Tsuzaki Adam, 89, of Kurtistown, formerly of Nevada City, Calif., died May 28 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born in Mountain View, she was a leader in the Kentucky Flat 4-H Club, gardener, rockhound and member of the Nevada County Gem and Mineral Society, Rose Club, made feather lei and weaved lauhala. Graveside urn committal service for her and her husband, Billy G. Adam, at noon Wednesday, July 27, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 pavilion. Casual attire; no koden (monetary gifts). Survived by son, Russell (Kim Smith) Adam of San Jose, Calif.; daughters, Robin Adam and Valerie (Jim) Peters of Kurtistown; brothers, Hiroshi (Patricia) Tsuzaki of Honolulu and Stephen (Lucille) Tsuzaki of Kahului, Maui; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
