Police trying to locate runaway
Police are seeking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Kelis Garmon-Mercado, who was reported as a runaway.
Garmon-Mercado is described as Caucasian, about 5-feet-8-inches tall, 317 pounds, with a large build, brown shoulder length curly hair, and brown eyes.
She was last seen at about 7:30 p.m. April 1 on the 1700 block of Kinoole Street in Hilo. When last seen Garmon-Mercado was wearing brown shorts, a brown shirt with a maroon hoodie wrapped around her waist, and rubber slippers. She was also carrying a teal backpack.
