Police: Captain Cook gas station robbed at gunpoint

SUSPECT

Police are seeking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for an early Wednesday morning armed robbery at a Captain Cook gas station.

Officers responded at 12:39 a.m. to the Mamalahoa Highway business after an employee reported being robbed at gunpoint. The suspect demanded cash, removed the cash drawer, then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as between 5-feet-8-inches and 5-feet-10-inches tall, slender, wearing long pants and a dark-colored hoodie. His head and face were concealed.

Anyone who might know the suspect’s identity is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
