Christine Estelle Bean, 57, of Holualoa died Jan. 18 at Stanford Health Care in Santa Clara, Calif. Born in Hilo, she was a foundation manager and property operations director, Teach for America Hawaii board member and advocate for cultural preservation of Hawaii.
