Violet Nora Caravalho, 89, of Kapaau died Feb. 15 in Waimea. Born in Kohala, she was a retired waitress for the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and member of Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Kohala Senior Citizens Club. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday (March 12) at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Eulogy at 9:45 a.m. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery.
