Police: Missing 10-year-old boy found safe in Hilo

UPDATE: Kainoha Nowell has been found in good health in Hilo.

Police are seeking the public’s help to find a missing 10-year-old boy.

Kainoha Nowell was reported as a runaway, but is seen as at-risk due to his age, police said.

He’s described as Micromesian, 5-feet-tall, 75 pounds, with spiked dark-brown hair, and brown eyes.

He was last seen in the 300 block of Desha Avenue in the Keaukaha neighborhood of Hilo. When last seen, he was wearing a black T-shirt with a white design, gray shorts and white shoes,
