Police seeking two missing Hilo residents

UPDATE Police say Juan Carlos Gonzales was found in Hilo in good health.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two missing individuals in different incidents.

Juan Carlos Gonzales, 21, of Hilo, was last heard from on Dec. 4 at about 10 p.m. in Keaau.

Gonzales is described as Caucasian, 5-feet-8-inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

And 39-year-old Amy Smith of Hilo was last seen Thursday at about 3 p.m. on Wainaku Street in Hilo.

Smith is described as Caucasian, 5-feet-5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and blonde hair.

Anyone with information on either individual’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
