The first unit arrived on scene at 9:24 p.m. to find the building “100% involved in fire.”

“Due to structural collapse imminent, defensive strategy was assumed (and) no nearby structures were threatened,” the statement said.

The fire was reported under control at 9:55 p.m. and extinguished at 10:30 p.m.

No estimate of damage was given and the cause of the fire was listed as “undetermined.”
