Police seek leads on two runaways
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two teenage girls reported as runaways.
Simeko Kosme, 17, was last seen Oct. 28 in the 1700 block of Kinoole Street in Hilo.

She’s described as about 5-foot-2 inches tall, about 147 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion.
Shayla-Rae Pomroy was last seen Nov. 22 in the 1700 block of Kinoole Street.
She’s described as about 5-foot-7 inches tall, about 175 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. She has a scar on the back of her neck. Pomroy was last seen wearing a maroon sweatshirt, black shorts and white sandals.
Both girls are thought to frequent both the Hilo and Puna areas.
Anyone with information about either girl’s whereabouts is asked to call the police nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
