Margaret “Margie” “Makaleka” Kalihilihiokeanuenue Amoguis, 83, of Kealakekua died March 17 at home. Born in Kona, she worked in accounting for the King Kamehameha Hotel. Private services. Survived by son, Anthony (Ramona) Amoguis of Kona; daughters, Bernadette (Billy Steven) Amoguis, Jasmine (George Gaspar) Amoguis and Charlene (Jeff) Pryor of Kona; brother, Harold (Trudi) Awa; sisters, Gladys Nacis, Pinake Minamishin and Ulu Llanes of Kona; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Brooke Zane Keanakolu Kame Artuyo Beall, 40, of Kawaihae died March 9 at Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. Service information at a later date. Suzanne Renee Hammersley, 66, of Ocean View died Feb. 25 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in New Mexico, she was a casino manager at Lake Tahoe, Nev., blackjack dealer and caregiver. Survived by parents, Darwin and Deanna Hammersley Sr. of Nevada City, Calif.; brothers, Darwin Hammersley Jr. of Honalo, Jamie Hammersley of Eugene, Ore., and Kevin Hammersley of Pearl City, Oahu; stepbrother, Eric Southard of Nevada City; stepsister Jill Southard of Nevada City; nieces, nephews and cousins. David Akira Kawauchi, 73, of Kahilipali Iki, Ka‘u, died Feb. 28 in Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Hawaii Police Department major and member of State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers, the former Ka‘u Lions Club, Ka ‘Ohana O Honuapo and Ka‘u Preservation. Private services at a later date. Survived by wife, Jamie M. Kawauchi; daughters, Dorae (Bruno) Kim and Jamae (James Takamine) Kawauchi; sister, Sandra Nakagawa; brothers, Kenji Kawauchi and Clyde Kawauchi; three grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Ronald Delos Santos Sr., 76, of Hilo died March 17 at home. Born in Pahala, he was a retired heavy equipment operator, truck driver for Akana Petroleum, bus driver for Akita Enterprises and member of Operating Engineers Local 3 and Kahoku A‘o Malamalama Church.
