William Lelenieha Kapaku Sr., 92, of Kailua-Kona, formerly of Nanakuli, Oahu, died Oct. 18 at home. Born in Makawao, Maui, he was a retired tile setter, founding member of the IUBAC Local 1 Hawaii, member of VFW and Veterans of Hawaii (Old Soldiers) and World War II and Korean War veteran.
